Berg at the Wörthersee
Alban Berg’s beloved Waldhaus is situated on a small hill in Auen on Lake Wörthersee. Already as a child he spent happy days at a lake and in 1932 he fulfilled his dream with the proceeds of his Wozzeck. In this place he lived and worked, among other things, on his “Lulu”.
